Dr. Bjork received his Optometric Degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in May of 2001. The training provided a very broad understanding of Optometry. Dr. Bjork has practiced Optometry in New York, Illinois, and now in his home state of Wisconsin. He practices with the philosophy that the patient comes first and emphasizes the ability to improve the quality of patients daily lives through better vision. His primary focus is on family vision care, which includes eye health examinations, contact lenses, children's vision and LASIK co-management. Dr. Bjork has the latest state-of-the-art technology which allows for early diagnosis and treatment of patients with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, along with other vision pathology. Outside of work Dr. Bjork enjoys spending quality time with his family. They enjoy volleyball, basketball, traveling, and taking in all of the fun community events.

Dr. Desiree Herron is a native to the Lake Country area and currently resides in Sullivan, Wisconsin. She graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2005. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009. She has worked at various optometry practices in Boston, Waukesha, Milwaukee, and Oconomowoc. Dr. Herron is a member of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations and is also active in school vision screenings as well as a participant of the InfantSEE program. Dr. Herron practices primary care optometry including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of ocular disease. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and has a passion for pediatric optometry. Dr. Herron strives to educate the community on the importance of annual eye exams for people of all ages. “I am passionate about pediatric optometry, because I love to watch my patients grow and develop.” In addition, Dr. Herron is proficient in fitting patients with specialty contact lenses. She also places a strong emphasis on patient education and prevention. In her free time, Dr. Herron enjoys spending time with her amazing husband, four children, and her puppy. They all enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring the beautiful Lake Country area.

Dr. Elyse Bruns is originally from northern WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with high distinction from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 2016.  She practiced in Ann Arbor and Flint, MI prior to moving “back home” in 2019. In Michigan, she received extensive training in multifocal contact lenses, glaucoma management, and pediatrics. Her special interests are in the treatment and management of ocular disease, myopia control, and specialty contact lenses. She also enjoys teaching and spends some of her professional time lecturing to various optometric and medical groups. She is a member of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations and is also a participant in the InfantSEE program. Dr. Bruns enjoys spending time outdoors, water skiing, downhill skiing, and playing volleyball. She also loves community involvement and spending time with her husband and her yellow lab, Oakley.
